Making best use of Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

The Department for Education (DfE) funded the Learning Together About Learning project to support the roll out of EYPP.

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) website contains an Early Years Toolkit

The Early Years Toolkit is a summary of educational research. It provides guidance for early years professionals on how to use their resources to improve the learning of disadvantaged children. The Toolkit covers a range of topics, each summarised in terms of the average impact on learning, the strength of the supporting evidence and the cost.
The Toolkit is a live resource which is updated on a regular basis as new summaries are completed and as findings from EEF-funded projects and other high-quality research become available.

See Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) Documentation on the right of this page for a suggested action plan proforma to record your use of EYPP funding and impact on outcomes for children (You may find it useful to share this document with Ofsted during an inspection to demonstrate "the impact of any early years pupil premium funding on the children’s progress")
