Additional funded childcare will help families by reducing the cost of childcare and will support parents into work or to work more hours, should they wish to do so. This is an additional 15 hours to the existing 15 hours of funded early education, which is available to all three- and four-year-olds and is known as the Universal Funded Entitlement (UFE)
The Extended Funded Entitlement (EFE) can be accessed through participating providers on the Buckinghamshire Directory of Providers. These include childminders, pre-schools, day nurseries, maintained nursery schools and maintained schools with nursery classes or early years provision.
